The XBox One Kinect is completely different technology from the XBox 360 Kinect. It will not work with openni2. I got an xbox 360 kinecr with power supply and usb adapter. After plugging it in and installing the 1.8 SDK and developer toolkit it shows a blinking green light. The background remover shows the "plug my power cord in" message and device manager only shows "kinect for windows device. Is there a fix for this problem or is the hardware broken?
